144 Music and Arts brings professionals into the classrooms to conduct a series of hands-on workshops, giving students an opportunity to interact with a sector of the community most would not otherwise have a chance to meet.

Our immediate goal is to expose Pre-K to 12th grade students to an audio, kinetic, and emotional experience of music that in time allows them to develop a knowledge and appreciation for music's different aspects. Our long-term objective is that the success students achieve in our workshops will provide them a foundation upon which to build their self-confidence in other challenging areas of life.

Student involvement in live performance is also one of the Goals. Therefore we recommend a minimum of two performances per school year in connection with the applicable courses.  Please select an area of courses to see what we have to offer:
